Fundraising

When you’re working in a small organisation or starting out in fundraising it can seem like a bit of a minefield, everyone speaks a different language and it’s hard to know where to focus the limited time you have. Where do you even start?

When you’re juggling competing priorities and trying to focus on doing the best you can for your organisation it can all become a bit overwhelming. I know because I’ve been there!

Help is at hand. I can provide you with practical support and resources to help you. From sharing insights into what funders are looking for in your applications to providing you with tips, tools and templates to help you find funding that’s the right fit for your organisation. If you need extra support to get you through a busy period with a number of deadlines I also offer short term application writing support.

Once you’ve got funding, I can support you to review your data and make sure that you are gathering the information you need to share your impact with funders and supporters.

Development

Good systems and processes can help you manage your fundraising successfully, but when we’re focused on delivering income and impact, we often end up with a lot of information in a lot of places and spend half our time looking for that really clever thing we once said in that application to thingummybob - sounding familiar?

I’ve implemented and developed CRMs, including Donorflex, Donorfy, and Salesforce, and I’ve used many free tools over the years to help me manage as a sole fundraiser and as part of a team. From tracking applications to managing relationships and monitoring and reporting, I can help you take a step back and consider what you need to put in place to help you take control.

You don’t need to have a big CRM budget or be an Excel whizz, I can help you review what you have, figure out what you’re missing and put a solution in place that works for you and your budget. I’ll even come in and run a masterclass with you and your team so that everyone is confident in using your processes and systems.

Strategy

Whether you’re looking to develop a fundraising strategy to sit alongside your organisation’s strategy or you’re just starting out and need some direction, I can help you plan your next steps. We’ll focus on what you need in the short, medium and long term and develop a plan to meet your needs, setting out clear actions and realistic targets to help you achieve your goals.

I can also provide resources to support your delivery, an internal case for support for your team to help them focus on key messages across their fundraising, briefing papers for your board so that they are on message when speaking to potential donors and partners, or a brochure to help introduce your organisation to potential corporate partners.

Whatever your needs, I’ll produce practical resources that will help you focus on raising income and making a difference.

Pricing

My aim is to give you as much support as I can within the budget that you have set yourself. I’ll always be honest and transparent about what I can and can’t provide, and I’ll work with you to make sure that you get excellent value for the money you spend.

My standard day rate is £450.

My reduced day rate for small organisations with income under £50k per year is £300.
