More about me
After earning a BA in Business Studies and spending eight years in financial services, I realised that employee benefits and pensions were not my calling.
Transitioning to the voluntary sector has been a rewarding choice, and I haven't looked back since. With over 15 years of experience in various fundraising specialities, I have a wealth of knowledge that I am eager to share with organisations seeking to start their fundraising journey or looking to increase and diversify their income.
I’ve developed fundraising strategies, built teams from the ground up, implemented fundraising CRMs and raised money from individuals, events, corporate partnerships, trusts and statutory funders.
I’ve been responsible for fundraising communications and campaigns, supporting volunteers, developing and delivering new services and managing high-performing teams.
Over the last three years, I’ve developed a grant management system and service and delivered multi-million-pound grant programmes. I’ve led the design of applications, assessment and awarding of grants, and monitoring and evaluation of programme learning and impact.
Now I’m using my breadth of experience to support organisations across Scotland to navigate the current climate, build capacity and ensure that they can continue to deliver life-changing work across our communities.
Also to be found being windswept in a woolly hat in all weathers!
